Slurry pumps

In addition to manure storage, PAS Manure Storage Systems also supplies all accessories such as manure pumps. The manure pumps are completely dependent on the situation, type of manure and type of storage.

We supply centrifugal pumps, worm pumps and submersible pumps to pump the manure to storage.

Centrifugal pump grinder

When there is a need for a large pump capacity, a centrifugal pump is often chosen. Because this type of pump has a more limited pressure build-up, the centrifugal pump is particularly suitable for pumping manure over a (relatively) short distance.

These pumps are not self-priming and need fertilizer to be able to pump. For this reason, centrifugal pumps are mainly placed as a permanent installation in a well or basement. By means of a “fan” inside the pump, the manure is pushed out and pumped away

The centrifugal pumps can withstand unrestricted run-dry. The tractor-driven pumps are insensitive to hard objects, provided a power take-off shaft with shear bolt is used. Equipped with a galvanized trolley as standard.

The pumps are also equipped with a nozzle that can be adjusted in both horizontal and vertical direction. The pump is supplied including a 90° curve.

Type of slurry pumps

Displacement pump

A positive displacement pump is self-priming. This means that the slurry can be sucked in by means of a hose. This ensures that the positive displacement pump is very flexible in the work. In addition, a very high pressure can be achieved on the pressure side. This makes the positive displacement pump suitable for thicker manure or pumping over longer distances.

Lobe pump

The tractor-driven rotary lobe pumps are ideal for pumping manure. If you are looking for an easily movable slurry pump, a tractor-driven rotary lobe pump offers you the solution. The lobe pumps pump the manure by means of rubber blocks (lobes).

Worm pump

Worm pumps have a longer life than lobe pumps. They pump very thick manure more easily and are also very suitable for places where pumping takes place very regularly, such as at manure separators and biogas installations.

A worm pump is often used for situations with a constant and low capacity for pumping slurry. For example feeding a manure separator. This is ideally controllable with a worm pump. In addition, these pumps can build up an extremely high operating pressure

Experienced partner

With more than 45 years of experience in all types of manure storage, we can rightly call ourselves an expert partner.

After such a long time in the manure storage, we have now built, inspected or repaired all types of systems. There is no problem is too big, or there is a suitable solution. We assist you with honest and sober advice.
